Growing up in Utah, Ben Davis realized at an early age that he wanted to find a way to help people and make a difference in his community. Coming from a family of lawyers, Ben knew that studying law would give him the knowledge and skills he would need to help those who may not be able to fight for themselves. When it came time to go to college, Ben decided to attend the University of Utah where he would study political science while also minoring in Spanish. He believed that both areas would allow him to better understand the world and help prepare him for a career in law.
After graduating in 1987, Ben was immediately accepted into the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in Provo. It was during law school that Ben realized his joy for both the law and helping people. He quickly became a proud member of the BYU Law School Law Review, a respected law journal edited and produced by students at the university. Through hard work and dedication, Ben eventually received his Juris Doctor in 1990 and was admitted to the Utah state bar that same year.
