About

Growing up in Utah, Ben Davis realized at an early age that he wanted to find a way to help people and make a difference in his community. Coming from a family of lawyers, Ben knew that studying law would give him the knowledge and skills he would need to help those who may not be able to fight for themselves. When it came time to go to college, Ben decided to attend the University of Utah where he would study political science while also minoring in Spanish. He believed that both areas would allow him to better understand the world and help prepare him for a career in law.

After graduating in 1987, Ben was immediately accepted into the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in Provo. It was during law school that Ben realized his joy for both the law and helping people. He quickly became a proud member of the BYU Law School Law Review, a respected law journal edited and produced by students at the university. Through hard work and dedication, Ben eventually received his Juris Doctor in 1990 and was admitted to the Utah state bar that same year.

With a fire and passion to begin making a difference in his community, Ben began practicing law in 1990 with a focus on employee and workers' compensation. He quickly realized that this area would be where he would devote his craft, as he realized the number of people who were facing devastating injuries from work-related accidents that needed help receiving compensation for their injuries. Over the next 20 years, Ben would gain valuable experience helping clients in a wide variety of workers' comp areas including compensation for common workplace injuries, mental health issues, employer neglect injuries, third-party claims, and many more.

After 20 years of practicing law, Ben decided to strike out on his own so that he could personally manage his caseload and better serve clients on a personal level. So in 2010, Ben opened the doors to his own firm, Ben Davis Law, PLLC. Through his own firm, Ben began to thrive by helping clients with personalized one-on-one attention. He even began offering free consultations and working on a contingency fee basis to help clients who may not be able to afford representation. Since opening the firm, Ben Davis Law, PLLC has established a proud reputation as a firm that Utah residents can trust to handle virtually any workers' comp case efficiently and professionally.

At the end of the day, Ben loves what he does because it offers him the rare opportunity to make a difference in people's lives for the better. When you are dealing with a serious injury that was suffered at work, it can be easy to feel angry and frustrated at the lack of support and help from your employer.
